it could have gone somewhere else...
that right ther is money not well spent..

this is my experience.. the most i could do is share it with you...you have to make the decision

^ Do it right the first time Exedy HD Twin! Don't waste your money buying the same parts twice, this goes for all your mods. Trust me you will want more and more power and the single disc are famous for locking at high rpm. Not to mention the labor cost of replacing a clutch. Good luck!

Thread update:

I got the ACT and couldn't be happier! I'm still on the stock turbo and the trans is fine.

The trans will come out in the near-future and I'll go with a longer 4th gear (from an evo8) and most probably then go with the twin.

Any issues with high rpm lock outs?

I have not yet experienced a high rpm lockout. There really is no reason to go above 7k on the stock turbo but shifting at 7200-7800 has been working out fine for me (only done a few times )

I think if the clutch was properly adjusted your trans would be ok, but who knows.

All I know is 3 mo ago I installed a exedy clutch stage one worse clutch I ever had. I tend too baby my evo never launch or abuse,no track days but suddenly my clutch is slipping soooo bad . It really makes me mad that I pay butt load of money too get it done and 3 mo later it blows from normal daily driving. My answer research a while before deciding or you might end up like me.

From what I hear from many owners twin disc is the way too go.
