ACT HDSS, 300+WTQ a few thousand miles. Feels like stock and grabs hard =)

 

I was on the highway going from 4th to 5th and it sounded a little if you dump a clutch at 2000rpm from a stop and almost stall it.I Didn't think anything off it.. but when I hit some traffic and try too down shift into 4th.. the clutch pedal was as hard as the brake pedal with no vaccum and stuck half way down. It takes all my might (180 lbs of me) to try and even push the pedal down to start the car now. I was able to take it out of 5th and rev it to line up the syncros to get it into third. Luckly i caught a few green lights

 

still stock but i am getting the ACT XTSS. From my research this is the best setup for the money...

 

so the act hd is quit. i bought my car used so i dont know what clutch is in it.... but it has a blue preasure plate in it and its noisy as f$%k

 

I have an act street clutch on my 275whp evo. Race every weekend and have about 9,000 miles on it. No problems yet!

 

You may have a spec

 

thats what i was thinking! jus hoping somebody would say, oh thats a whatever clutch and there known to be noisy. thanks though
