WAY more power left but the EBC wasn't allowing for more boost.
What EBC are you using?

I have the HKS EVC, the reason why My EBC didnt allow more then 24.5psi is because i'm running the stock evo 9 wastegate actuator. The EBC can only boost double the wastegate spring setting. Once I upgrade to the HP actuator, i'll be able to boost 30psi.

Here the graph of the old mods vs new mods.

Interesting. The temp is almost 25 degrees colder in your older run, and you made that much more power with just an intercooler and testpipe.

Dude, stfu. So what if he doesn't want to risk blowing up his stock block...

Not to defend , but is that not the purpose of this turbo? to max it out without having to worry about building the bottom ends of our cars.. I thought from others experiences that the stock blocks were good to over 500 whp.. didnt think this turbo would push that limit.

Yeah, there are cars pushing OVER 500whp on the stock blocks. But I guarantee you would not be able to beat on those cars daily (as in high-rpms/highway pulls/racing) w/o it blowing up very soon. I wouldn't subject my stock block to anything over 25psi, even w/ a stockish turbo, until I knew I had the money for a new built block. David Buschur has said in the past that he doesn't recommend pushing the stock block past 25psi and considering how much experience he has with our motors, I trust his advice. For some reason some people on this forum think our bottom-ends are akin to Al Pacino in Scarface. However, the horsepower world is not yours (w/ a stock EVO block) and will blow up.

Interested to see how the ebc handles the hp actuator... the few cars I have seen running the hp actuator and mbc had a midrange creep (couple psi at least) that forced a little lower boost at peak torque to prevent overboost in the midrange.

Should be able to tune that right out with the ebc.

Nice numbers.

MR. Birdie Just a thought but you might also try the Forge piston type actuator, either way after, I would seek out TURBODAWG. His ideas have some validity as far as wastegates go, to me anyways.

As far as 25 psi on stock blocks and all that, If the motor can perform in the correct enviornment, then the only limiting factor would be part integrity, just my 2 cent.

Thanx guys. I'm currently looking into a 65MM throttle body and Meth injection kit. How much power can a ported exhaust manifold actually give ?
