I went with ACT because of the great track record and amazing customer service. I also hear a lot of positive things about the Exedy but i didn't feel it was necessary to spend more than a grand when i don't plan on making more power than the ACT can handle.
very well put

Yeah I love that Exedy but I cannot justify $1400 and then $800 to install, it's crazy I can't do that. I ran an ACT HDSS in my VIII, it worked GREAT, $800 installed, can't beat that.

With that much power, you should have nothing less than a twin plate like the Exedy HD...

ACT 6-PUK handles over 600 Foot pounds of torque, it is harsh but not bad it it won't slip. Many large turbo stroker evos run them and they won't slip at all.

I am looking for the XTSS setup. I want the XTREME DUTY pressure plate but the Street Disk, that is good for 560 Crank Torque which is Stock Turbo/50 Trim territory and where I plan to stay

this is what i got also!

The XTSS with the prolite flywheel... For the money this combo is unbeatable and the almost 600 ft-lbs torgue rating is plenty for what i have and will have for a while!!!

I am trying to use a stock flywheel, how mych for an ACT XTSS 567 torque rating installed?

(3200 pound pressure plate and street disk, from what I saw that same price as the HDSS 0
installed with fluids and possibly an alignment?

Also, since you have to remove my exhaust to do the clutch, you could put on another exhaust right since it wouldn't be any additional labor

I have an AMS exhaust, it fits
