Rear Diff???

should i just go and get a new Cusco one? they're like $1100.

The only question I wold have here is if the cusco one came with new gears. That crunching sound probably means broken gears and so forth like a ring gear getting stripped or something.

I did a quick look around at some shops like Sheppard and TRE to see if they did a rear differential upgrade and couldn't find one . Makes me wonder how often the rear diffs go..

Before worrying about the Cusco, find out if it is just the ring and pinion (inside the "outer" housing) or if you actual LSD itself (inside the "inner housing") is damaged.

Only once you know what is broken can you figure out what parts to buy to fix it. . .
