Going with a hard pipe kit, got one question about the install

Going with a hard pipe kit, got one question about the install

Is it true you need to replace the airbox is it? or is there something else you need to replace? I know theres something that has to be removed to install a hard piip kit, just not sure what. if its the air box kit, then would a short ram work?

If you want to leave the airbox in, DEJON Tools sells one the replaces the pipe only.

From what I read about hard pipe kits is they dont really add much to the HP, is that true?
