I was thinking about buying an aftermarket intake header and exhaust header how will that effect my evo 9 turbo. Will it help get more power out of my evo9 turbo.

 

 

Header - singular

There is an intake manifold and an exhaust manifold (or header).

This topic has been covered - just so you know.

But an aftermarket tubular header for the exhaust has proven time and time again to crack or fail. There are gains to be had. My recommendation is the PPI ported and coated exhaust mani. Swain coated and deep ported - top quality work here. Id also get the 02 housing (also coated). Those together will give you nice gains.

Intake wise, a ported (and opt. coated) intake manifold will also net nice gain due to clearing and smoothing intake flow.
