Exedy Clutch Stage 1
I have the Exedy Twin HD and bought it because Exedy makes the factory clutch for the Evo. I am also putting down a little more power than you (I think you said you were at 300 or so) and it works perfectly. The pedal has a stock feel to it as well. If you plan to do more mods for more power then save you $ and get the Twin HD so that you arent replacing your clutch shortly down the road again.
Remember the sayings, "you get what you pay for" and "cheaper is not always better" I wouldnt mess with a cheap clutch especially with the Evo since it could destory many parts of your drive train if you make the wrong decision.
Just my .02
Whats your current power output and what type of power do you think you might see in the future. What type of driving do you do (track days only, dd, every now and then, traffic king). I decided that when I get a clutch it will be a hd twin disk design to allow some breathing room for 400whp+. Let us know your goals for the car then you can start picking a clutch out.
Straight from exedy's site

Totally off topic, I'm sorry, but I did contribute to the thread...
I don't know why people say "Get the Exedy Twin because Exedy made the stock clutch!" For one, the stock clutch sucks. For two, the Exedy Twin disk was not designed for the Evo specifically. So that really isn't a good reason to buy a clutch. The Exedy Twin has a lot of better reasons to purchase.
