But an aftermarket tubular header (edit: knock off, cheap, etc.) for the exhaust has proven time and time again to crack or fail. There are gains to be had. My recommendation is the PPI ported and coated exhaust mani. Swain coated and deep ported - top quality work here. Id also get the 02 housing (also coated). Those together will give you nice gains.
http://www.paradigmperformance.net/p.../manifold.html - $229
http://www.paradigmperformance.net/products/evo/O2.html - $199

Your friends apparently do not know much about the Evo. Why would they say JIC?
Port and coat your stocker - case closed. Also, we only have one exhaust manifold - not headers.

Warr, to be fair he is from Turkey so maybe he doesn't speak English.
cetinsaya,
What moast of the people in this thread have told you is true. Stick with the stock, coated and ported exhaust manifold. Tubular ones arent wworth the money and are prown to cracking.
There is no need to run a big equal length tubular manifold on a staock, or stock style turbo. It is flat out overkill.
