The only time my car idles rough is when pumping gas into an almost empty tank while the car is running.

Most tunes don't even touch the idle, unless you have monster cams and have an aftermarket ecu.

you might want to check for un-metered air leaks and it's poss.that the tbe is not causing your concern.maybe an exhaust leak throwing off the pre cat o2,but i doubt it

Im pretty sure every cams except for maybe 264's need at least a little tweak to the idle.

Great information

i've never experienced that on my evo, even in cold weather, it's been pretty stable, if you get a good reflash it may solve it

if your car is cold when you start it, it will idle at around 1500rpms til it starts to warm up. Then the rpms will slowly drop until it gets to operating temp...I believe mitsu recommends letting the vehicle warm up and to not start driving until the water temp needle starts to move. I always wait until the needle is past the lowest markjust to be safe.

Your rpms shouldnt be jumping around though...If the rpms arent steadily going down during warm up or are jumping around at operating temp I would take it to the dealer and have them check it out...especially since its a brand new car

I have rough idle even when the car is stock, changed the spark plug and it was much better.
