E85, EVO Green.................

Today I had the pleasure of working with Trevor Jones again on his EVO. Trevor is one of the best guys we have ever had the chance to help out. Constantly promoting us always has our name on the car when he races it. Basically how it is suppose to work.

The car was previously our Stage 4, BR Race FMIC, 880 cc injectors, ported/coated manifold, 20g-9-5, SS 02 housing, Revolver cams, AEM EMS. With that combination the car made 389 torque, 381 horsepower.

Trevor showed up yesterday to have the new Green installed, 1000 cc injectors, our double pumper fuel pumps and tuned on E85. No more race gas, no more pump gas. Gonna run the corn squeezin's.

It's truly amazing the power the car was able to make. We gained power throughout the entire RPM band with a peak gain in HP of 37 whp and peak gain in torque of 36 ft lbs. There are parts of the graph where HP/Torque gains are over 40.

This is actual E85 from Wisconsin he brought with him. We hit 88% duty cycles with the 1,000 cc injectors in the car. Definetely a hefty fuel requirement.

Enjoy the chart, keep you any ignorant comments to yourself

thats just amazing, great work as always dave. I just wish the AEM could be run along side the stock ECU so I could pass OBD-II. I would love to duplicate this.

Wow! That would be like 490whp horsepower on a typical Dynojet. This is a great turbo. How much boost was it running?

Curt's car made 423 whp on this turbo on C16, leaning on the car pretty hard. In his car he ran 10.5 at 129.

I'd love to see Trevor hit a 10.99. He's 6 speed equipped though, so it's going to be tougher.

30 psi of boost.

Stock shortblock, stock head.

I know Oregon is maken it mandatory by 2009 for every pump so i would imagine that alot of other states will follow suit. Just type it into google

David and Trevor,
Awesome numbers guys!! Looks like it's going to be the battle of the EVO Greens at Winged Warrior this year!! I can't wait till we get a consistent supply of E85 up here in MI.

David,
As similarly modded as Trevor's car and my car are, to what do you attribute the fact that mine spools up 1000 rpms faster but makes 45HP less throughout the powerband? I also have Revolvers, 20G-LT, EMS, ported mani, 02, BR 3" exhaust . . . have you ever seen a set of cams come improperly indexed from the factory?
