Very bad boost creep and boost wont go down.

Im getting very bad boost creep in every gear.. I even tried turning my boost controller all the way down and the boost remained the same.. I have a catless tbe, forge unos mbc and a megan o2 housing....

Is it possible the boost controller is getting stuck? Its very cold out right now and im not sure if the boost creep has to do with the weather.. These are the same mods i had on my 05... I just dont know why the boost wont go down even after the mbc i shut completely.. Any suggestions would be helpful

you need to go and clean your forge mbc, and then put some wheel bearing grease, in that bad boy, and reassemble

How much does it creep up too? If it creeps pass 23 psi, better stay out of boost if you're 93 octane.

Well it wants to go past 1.5 bar which is about 21.5 psi~ but i let off so it wont go pass it... Im thinking it has to be the weather but then again when i had this mbc on my 05 and it got this cold i never had that problem but one time.. Im gona try cleaning it to see if that works

I have the same problem with my IX and UNOS. It only happens in the very cold weather, around 15-20 degrees and colder.

Try taking the BC out of the equation and see if it still does it. If it doesnt, then clean the BC. If it does, then its something else.

Seems we all have the same issue.. I contacted someone at Forge and they told me to clean it.. Ill clean it tomorrow and see what happens.. The cold weather is gona continue for a few days so ill be able to see if cleaning it does anything at all..If cleaning it doenst help then im gona have to try another boost controller or something

Same problem here guys...I am hitting 24-25psi of boost and have no control of it with my Hallman boost controller. I have even tried bypassing the bov and ran a positive pressure source straight to the wastegate and i still would hit 23psi.I have tried everything, even have the wastegate actuator arm adjusted out.

If you guys are below 5000rpm it will do that. Try driving it like you would if you were drag racing and it won't go that high. The turbo can't flow enough boost to creep above 20+psi when revving high.
