with the forge rs the car runs great and perfect
but with the greedy type s (recirculated) with the single spring mod the car runs like total crap. the idle surges like crazy. like there is a vacuum leak

and it almost stalls when you come to a stop.

whats wrong with my type s

 

You either have it set too soft or it's not hooked up correctly. Do you have the bottom nipple hooked to a boost source or blocked?

 

i have the single spring mod done and i have the bottom nipple open with nothing attached
should i put both springs in and connect the lower nipple to the intercooler piping ??

For now, try just blocking it off. If it still surges, hook it up to a boost source to make it open faster.
Just put a small piece of hose over the bottom nipple and put a screw in the end to seal it. Should be fine.
