Fuel Pump for 21-22psi?

Is a fuel pump needed when running 21-22psi on stock setup w/ minimal mods (TBE, MBC, and a tune)? What psi is safe to run w/out a fuel pump. Should we be running less boost like the stock 18-20psi w/out a fuel pump. Call me paranoid.

the IX's have a better pump than the VIII's. You should be able to run 21psi on the stock pump.

Is the IX's fuel pump comparable to the 255 Warlboro?

I suggest to get a pump if you are going to add more mods in the future.

IMO... it is the cheapest part while bringing some safety for top end power.

Recommended!

I would just get the pump especially if you are going to get tuned soon anyway.

Might as well, you could be fine without, but if you plan on modding more you'll need one soon enough.

Money ($100) is not the the issue, I'm just asking for peoples opinions on the IX needing a fuel pump for 21-22psi. I've heard that the IX's fuel pump is stronger than the VIII's, and that it's not neccessary for 21-22psi w/ TBE, MBC, and a tune. These mods are already on the car, and the car was recently tuned on Dyno Dynamics.

BTW, you will need to re-tune the car if you add the fuel pump.

AFRs in my car changed more than one point reaching the 9s. Only under load. At idle, I was getting 14.6-15 AFR numbers.
