Whoops.....not sure why I put January The harnesses will be with us 3rd week of June.

This really isn't the right item to do a GB on, as there is not enough wiggle room with the supplier. At the $139.00 price, we are about $40.00 less tha n the official US retail price for these, and of course we include shipping in the 48 states.

I'm fairly certain that the harness would be the same for the non-turbo lancers also.. If you can look, check to see if there are 4 connectors on your ECU.. If there is, then its the same. Be aware that the wiring for the EVO and the FWD Lancer may be different when you install an AFC.. But the physical plugs should be the same.

Ok.. I wired and installed my S-AFC and A/F Gauge using the Wiring harness.. Worked PERFECTLY and its alot easier to do on a work bench than splicing into a wiring harness on your back..

Only one issue I found, the space where the ECU wiring is fairly tight, so getting a 6" harness, plugs, and stock harness to fit under the plastic cover is a bit of a challenge. I will post an update Saturday when I get everything tucked up under the dash and a few pics of the install. One suggestion before cutting the wires.. Label the wires you intend to splice into, and TRIPLE CHECK, all of the wires are the same color, so your only reference is a diagram in your installation manual and pin#'s

Its REALLY easy to install, and even easier to remove if you need to take it in for service. I even mounted my S-AFC and A/F Gauge in such a way that I can remove it in seconds if I wanted to.

Should be no reason for it not to be compatible with the Xede, though for the Xede you need to tap for power and ground as well and I'm thinking that's not part of the harness, though I guess I could be mistaken as I've not ever done much tinkering with ECU's.

Yes this is compatible with ANYTHING that would be spliced into the ECU's wiring.. and there is a power and ground on the harness... you wouldn't want to put too much load on it.. But almost all AFC's (INCLUDING Xede) would get their power from the wiring off the ECU harness anyway.

All wires currently required for XEDE install are available on the harness so yes it will work. There are power and ground leads on the factory ECU harness.

Some people chose to tap power and ground elsewhere so they could avoid the additional taps into factory harness.

I have pre-ordered and paid for one already from Z-1, and will rewire my XEDE using the new harness connector.
