JDM anti lag runs off DV output?????

So I was reading some info packet I have about the JDM IX.

When I got to the anti lag setup, I noticed that it seems the gas/air it shoots into the exhaust manifold to keep the turbo spooled comes from the DV.

here

Damn, they're putting anti-lag on street cars now in japan? Thats crazy. That looks to be a seprate valve, probably vaccum controlled so that when the motor comes under vaccum (aka no boost) it will allow for the valve to open and allow air/fuel to enter the line that wil supply the anti-lag.

It looks like theres no wiring or electrically stuff.
So in theory, it seems if you get......

- the special "air pipe c" with the two DV outlets
- the special DV/solenoid
- the tubing
- the jdm manifold.......

You could install this on a USDM car.

I wonder if it would be worth it???

you would also need the titanium shaft turbo. the anti-lag will punish the usdm turbo.

YUP the TME version came with anti-lag setup, an off the shelf TME turbo will do the trick.
It be pretty sweet to see how a 20g with a titanium shaft would respond to this.

i read some where on the forums that the usdm exhaust manifold has the anti lag port.

All you need as far as the upper intercooler pipe is the Greddy pipe that Lancershop and others sell. It is intended for a JDM car (and they dont bother to tell you that, unless you happened to already have ordered a Trust one) and has both outlets (ALS and stock DV).

US manifold has the ports they just need to be drilled and tapped for the JDM hardware. You would need the wiring harness and wire it into the ECU pinout. I am assuming that since the software is there (mapped in the VIII at least) there is a pinout/driver that corresponds.

It has boss, not ports or holes. If you knew what size hole to make, you could make the hole in a USDM manifold.

You could machine the usdm manifold to take the anti-lag. The second pic shows the mounting area for the anti-lag..the first pic shows them removed.. I would rather buy a new manifold ready to go..just incase I would want to remove the set up for whatever reasion.
