pressure drop in turbo xs intercooler
has anyone expereicned any pressure drop wen they installed an aftermarket intercooler or anythin... my boost sits at exactly 20 if not 19 now and before it used to be at 22-23 stock turbo with mods of tbe and hks filter
you will get a drop because you need more air to fill the added room or the new intercooler. i dopnt have a Turbo XS but i didn't get any loss in pressure drom, but the Turbo XS one is bugger then mine
According to Buschur, a free flowing I/C shouldn't have any drop in boost. In fact you would have to dial the MBC back a bit.
Besides, once that extra space is filled, how does boost still stay lower than previously set? The extra space might induce a bit more lag as the space fills up with air, but pressure/boost shouldn't drop unless it's more restrictive.

When I added the AMS I/C to my old E8, the boost didn't drop.
