I have this same exhaust. I just got it in on Friday and haven't had time to put it on yet. I am trying to decide on what to do about the 02 before I install it. I guess I am just going to get the o2 simulator. From what I have heard that is all I will need. Is this true or am I missing something else? I have never installed an exhaust before, so I am just trying to make sure I have everything going in that I need.

exhaust is real simple to install. before you do the o2 sim. try to get the sensor out. you never know.

Ok, I will try it. So, let me get this straight. Sorry, if it this question is dumb! If I can get the o2 sensor out of the other, do I still use it? That would not throw the cel light on? I know the install part will be very easy, I just don't know about the electronic part of it with the o2 sensor.

Search the how to section for the mechanical o2 fix.

That is the cheapest and most effective means of fixing the cel problem.

Great choice, I have this on my 03 8 and the fitment is perfect. Very nice note too, it's alittle louder than stock during idle but at WOT it's sounds like a monster! I solved my o2 problems with a UR test pipe and figured I'd sell the tanabe test pipe sometime down the road when I wasn't so lazy
