FP3052...anyone use this turbo?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this turbo. Seen it on a few DSM's , just shy of 500 hp on a dynojet with 93 octane and pretty nice spool. Since Dave uses a 3065 in his kit I would think he could adapt it to his manifold. Could be a nice alternative to a 50 trim but since I really know zero about turbo selection I figured I would throw it out here. Please refrain from getting this post off topic by saying "Just buy a 50 trim" or "20G LT RULZ!!".

It's just a GT3076-12 with a DSM turbine flange. Lot's of people have used GT3076-12's with good results. The turbo is not capable of 500hp on straight 93. It's barely capable of 500hp on race gas. 400whp on 93 and 475whp on race gas would be a better range.

It's very similar to the "50 trim" except the 3052 responds better to race gas and the 50 responds better to pump.

The FP exhaust housings are gorgeous.

That 500 whp dyno you saw on FP's site is a built 2.3 with everything you can imagine on it.

I would love to use that turbo and I think I am. Gonna build a custom manifold, even though I wanted to stick to stock manifold. But no one makes one to fit it. The test graph on FP's website which is a DSM is pretty sick also, look at that torque,
300tq @ 4000rpm on 93. check out the graph http://linux.forcedperformance.net/m...ctane_full.jpg

Buschur Racing offers this turbo setup in his kits. He has the best kits for 2995.

Can you post a link, because all I have seen from Buschur is the 3065. I am sure he should easily be able to use the 3052 since it is the same gen 1 bolt pattern.

He doesn't have it on the website. The 3052 is same footprint as 3065 so there is no change to kit design. Dave Buschur has posted that the 3052 could be used in his kit if anyone wanted to try it. The 3052 is a few bucks cheaper so the kit should be a few cheaper as well. Give Dave a call he can give you details.
