The twin is the way to go if you can spend the money although the Organic/Stage 1 and Cerametallic/Stage 2 are great clutches that many people overlook. I have installed both and they are the way to go for less money and great holding power.

Gruppe-S,
The Exedy I have now is a 4 puck, can I get a 6 puck disc only? Or has the whole clutch set changed? Thanks.
Hi,

Unfortunately the Ceramic Metallic 6-puck is sold only in the disc + pressure plate setup. The twin plate is rebuidable, however.

Thanks,

Gary

The pedal feel is actually softer than the ACT setups, but it grabs harder.

Just thought I'd throw out a few options for the guys on a budget. If you need an exedy twin we get those at great prices also hehehe.

Isn't the Six Puck capable of 550 pounds of torque? What is the Exedy's torque compacity? Also I thought the Combo deal was $699?

I talked to Exedy and they said the 6 puck was their replacement for their hyper single. This means it does come as a complete set with flywheel to pressure plate.

Although they told me their 4 puck Stage 2 does hold more power than the Stage 3 - 6 puck. Interesting.

Wait so if I order the 6-Puck Exedy kit for my 2006 IS MR, it comes with a flywheel?

The 4 puck is different from the 6 puck and they are not interchangeable.
