Valve springs and retainers are not necessary for the 272's, but they're good for peace of mind, especially if you want to raise your rev limit.

I have a 05' MR with tbe, k&n drop in filter, mbc @22.5 psi peak tapering to 17-18psi and brian crower 272's.(stock valve train) FLASHED! I think there is room for a little more power if i change my cat back to a less restrictive one and get the car to hold the boost a little better. As for, bang for the buck, i think so! what do u guys think? Here's what i did yesterday.

I have BC 272's and until now have not seen another dynograph on a 272 cam evo making that much tq compared to HP. My results were simular.
314/306 (91oct)
334/334(100oct)
Is it just me or does BC cams seem to realy bring up the tq in comparison to other 272's? (relative to whp)
