Talking PeakBoost Kits..Worth The Money???

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them? They seem to be pretty nice, but my buddy was wondering if anyone has used them?

Please do some research also. A turbo kit is something you really need to think hard about before buying. Try not to go by hearsay too much. Which turbo do you plan on getting by the way?

I wasn't jumping to an conclusions. I had been doing alot of reseach and recenlty discovered they are in the Evo tuning market now. I really like the mani's they have.

As far as which size turbo, I was considering the BR35R kit, but I don't know if I want that much lag for a daily driver. It will see track every so often (auto-x), but not much drag time. I'm not into drag racing.

Probably the 3071R, little bit less lag and setup more towards daily-duties.

Thanks for the info guys!

If you are thinking about the GT3071R, forget about it. The FP Green turbo will blow that turbo out of the water. The FP Green/20glt turbo will reach 20psi by 3500rpm and has the potential of 500whp on a Dynojet. This turbo also bolts onto the stock exhaust manifold. This turbo is rated at 48.9 pounds per minute.

The FP Green turbo is perfect for auto-cross in my opinion and the most cost effective out of any turbo upgrade for the Evo.

Thanks for the info. I did not know that. I want something that is nice to drive, yet still able to give me the output I want when I romp on it.

No problem. Here is a link. On this site it only states that it's 47 pounds per minute, but it's slightly more.

Here's more detailed information about this turbo.

where is a 500whp dyno from a FP green??

also where are you getting this 48.9 ppm??

Ive only seen 47ppm, and the highest ive seen is only 454whp on the fpgreen at 30psi.

again, show me a 500whp+ dyno on a fpgreen??

just because he made 460whp on a mustang doesnt mean he made 520whp on a dyno jet

Here is a link to Curt Brown's Evo with a FP Green that produced 450whp and 450 torque on a Mustang dyno. That would equal to rougly 515whp and 515 torque on a Dynojet. Please take into account that Curt Brown's Evo has every single modification under the sun, so your numbers will vary. He also did a 10.5 in the quarter mile, but his car weighs 2,940 pounds with driver.
