the chip and hp

what can i do to get the hp up higher and get my car to go faster like so um can a evo 2003 beat a porshe boxer type s and how much does it cost to get the chip changed or reprogramed??

Yes look at the back of any car magazine and you will see the performance numbers for the EVO far outperform the Boxter S. and their are many vendors working on piggy back and stand alone ecm upgrades.Do a quick search and you are bownd to find several posts. Good luck on your research

yeah i don't think it would be hard to beat a boxter s in an evo cause i can keep up with normal boxters till about 3rd gear with my oz with cai, header and axle back.

Took my car in and the service manager talked to the person in charge of the Evo at Mitsubishi. The rumor about a chip is flase, though there will be a 300 hp model in 2005
