Wheres all these Cosi Cammed 9's @??

With all the Cosworth cams being sold by all these vendors for the 9, you would think there would be some good before and after comparisons posted.
Its almost obvious these cams arent working to good, otherwise everyone would be posting on how well there the cams perform etc.
Lets get some feedback guys!!!

Search. I've not seen anyone saying anything bad about these. Many are using them with good success. Even Buschur is singing the Cosi praises.

From what I've seen, the Cosis are more aggressive than than the GSC S1's. FWIW, RoadRace has nothing but good things to say about these cams. Is that enough SoCal cred for you?

Wasn't there an issue recently with a bad batch of Cosworth Cams for the IX? Correct me if I'm wrong, I didn't look into it any further.

My friends 9 was maxed out at 417bhp before cams (all possible bolt ons except for cams - sort of like bushur stage 4 + hks manifold + fuel rail + 680cc injectors) after cosi cams 437bhp = gain of 20hp on an already maxed out car.

Not to be a jerk, but you keep saying this and I and other members ask you for links to where you get this information and none are ever provided. The only thing I have ever seen Buschur say about any IX cams is that right now they aren't worth purchasing...

A bunch of us are still waiting for ams to do a test, this way we can compare the before/after gains from their gsc test to the cosi test.

My friend search, you will find plenty of tests on these cams in this forum...

I have them and until now i am dyno'ed at 344whp at 23psi spike or 355whp at 25psi spike on a Dyno Dynamics with a thrown off tune and knock...

By mid March i will change my stock piping kit with the Nisei kit plus Tial bov, my ceramic UR catalytic converter with a Randomtech metallic unit, preload my forge wastegate actuator 1-2 turns and then have Big Al to retune...

Even with the knock with the car pulling 1-2 degrees timing plus 10.8 afrs the car feels Monstrous!!!

Can't wait to sort everything out and hit the track...!!!

You can see my mods in my sig...

I haven't seen any before and after track or dyno numbers with just a cam install. It would be nice to see some numbers with a tuned car add cams and get retuned with nothing else being changed or added. I can dream cant I

I'll be doing this eventually the second time I get tuned later this summer but I'll be adding a FMIC as well, so that may skew the results. I just cant decide on GSC or Cosworth. First round of tuning coming early next month. I'll be sure to post a thorough write up/review

1st round mods: (Speed Element DynoDynamics)

-Buschur TBE (bullet w/ test pipe)
-ARC induction box
-Nisei LICP
-PPI ported/coated hotside
-PPI ported/coated manifold
-PPI o2 housing
-Denso 720cc injectors
-Walbro FP
-91 octane tune

2nd round (Speed Element DynoDynamics)
-AMS FMIC
-Cams (cosi or GSC S1)
-Sunauto hyperforce ignition
-one-step colder plugs
-VP101 race gas tune

It'll be interesting to see what happens

I have installed several sets of cosworth IX cams with great results - happy customers and no problems

I highly recomend them

(At least until the ebay $15 IX cams are released later this week)

I posted several dyno sheets

I have heard plenty of times on how much RRE loves the Cosi Cams that THEY SELL, unfortunatly, they have proved nothing to the evo community with hard #'s,track times, etc, that they are worth anything.
Try asking RRE what they think about the Cosi cams and I garuantee this will be the reply you get "Cosworth is a huge, successfull company with a great history, do think they would sell something with there name on it that doesnt work".
So far, it seems as though they do....
Lets see some facts, not opinions...........
