That seller has received 100 negative feedbacks within the past 12 months...I wouldn't do business with him based on that fact alone.

He also had over 6,000 positive feedbacks...a seller like this does so much volume that 100 negative means nothing. Good luck with your decision

I have ordered from him. Good guy. From owning my own ebay, you cannot satisfy everyone looking for the cheapest prices, especially if things go on backorder.

Its real, but I would still be carefull. I ordered cam gears from the seller a year back never recieved them nor did I recieve a refund. All attempts to get some type of resolution failed.

as long as you pay with a checking acct through paypal you should be safe. Once someone doesnt come through, go to resolution center on paypal and it halts all transactions for the seller until resolved. so go for it

As a general rule of thumb,I never consider anyone with feedback below 98%. 100 to 6032 is a very bad ratio. That is a 1.63 % chance of getting screwed over. This means on average he dicks over 1 person every 61 transactions. Hmmmm...definitely sounds like a winner

uhhhh according to your statement over the last 6 months his feed back has been 98.3 so that is over 98%. So how are 100 negative feedbacks bad?

That feedback is okay. Think about the type of people that shop on ebay. Alot of them expect their items to ship the same day and show up in 2 days. I'm sure some negative feedback wasn't deserved.
