i have a 2005 MR, i have just had a Carbonetics twin carbon clutch put in, tonight was my first time to go back to the track with the new clutch and tune, after racing i left the track used 6th gear, and stopped ate, and left and after i had left the restraunt i couldnt get my car to go into 6th gear. Anyone know whats going on? should i try to claim warranty on this, it has around 38,000 miles. It does not grind or anything it just simply wont go in just like if it wasnt there or something. Every other gear works fine.

 

can't claim warranty on a tranny with aftermarket clutch...

 

Well i think it might maybe be my cables or something? No1 knows anything on this subject?

 

what cables are you talking about ?sound like you are going to have to take out the trany agian.

 

I just got this clutch in, and with only 38k miles why would my tranny screw up if i rarely launch it.

 

Look at were the end of the cables attach to the transmission linkage. I tore my bushings and pulled the cable apart and had to replace the cables. It wouldn't let me go into gear also

 

but would that lock me out of just one gear, i would think it would lock me out of all of em..
