But then look at this... greddy ti is 98db at idle and HKS is 96db.
I think greddy is not alot louder than HKS carbon ti. but I really want a loud exhaust.
I hope HKS Carbon ti is like 2x louder than stock one..
Mondo, thanks for the PMs and sound clips. sounds good with your 3" system. Ill be running just the catback so it should sound a little more tame.
Now i just gotta order it and find a reputable exhaust shop for install b/c ive read of too many problems with rattling, hitting drive shaft, hanging low....

hey, no problem man. i enjoy hepling other members, and more importantly, showing off my new parts
honestly, the install wasn't that bad. the hardest part was o2 sensor. it was cross threaded and came out a little stripped, so my buddy had to fix the threads with a dremel tool. other than that it just took some time, and a few helping hands from my friends.
but if you can find a good shop to save you the trouble of being under the car i would say go for it.

I have a helix dp and hi-flow cat with the hks carbon-ti and a lot of people I run into say I have the quietest evo they've ever heard, besides stock. Of course, this is just subjective and I don't have a db level for you.
