Your thoughts on the Perrin Hoses

OK, I'm considering getting some Perrin silicone hoses.

Namely, the UICP and Radiator hoses.

I wanna know if anyone has em and if they like em, also what people think about this in general:

I have the Perrin Boost tube and another type of coupler that I can't immediately identify but I haven't installed them yet. Main reason is I would really like to go with metal piping from ARC or I'd even settle for Injen. I would like to know from anybody that's been using this piping.

Silicone is insulated better from heat than SS that sucks heat to itself. So yes its good.

I have been using the upper and lower radiator Perrin hoses for over 12K miles and have yet to have an issue. They work great. I had the intake boost tube as well, but went with the HKS shortly after. That also a great insulated pipe. I recommend them.. SAMCO has great hoses too..

I went with the Boost tube when i first got my car. Its was fine but after about 12k in miles i noticed i started getting boost leaks around the blow-off valve.
I couldn't figure for the life of me why? But when i put the car on the dyno the boost tube would swell really big and i noticed the metal clamp would cut into the silicone and eventually wore a hole into it. I also noticed when it would swell it would hit the bottom of the Hood lining and wore a nice grove into the silicone after awhile.

I took it off and went with metal. But i always wondered what would happen if i didn't have a stock turbo and was boosting to 35 plus #s of boost on how big i could get the silicone to swell
