Got dyno tuned
I had my Helix V2 cams installed and I got dyno tuned on saturday by Doug at Top Speed. Doug is a really good tune and a great guy. But, I am alittle disapointed in my numbers. I thought my car was going to make more power. At 21psi there was a really bad boost leak but the car was still making 343whp. After Doug fixed the leak and finished the tune my car ended up with 359whp and 352wtq. He told me that he thought my car would have made more power than that, so did I. He said it might be the cams but he did not have anything to base it off of. My car pulls hard and drive great but do you think that the cams are holding me back? If so than where can I get some Revolver cams at? Also, all of my mods are in my SIG.
Thanks
Emery

Not all dynos are the same, so take a few 3rd gear logs from 2k - redline and see if someone can convert using DLL. The numbers sound pretty nice to me, but I only have 315 / 315 on my IX
....I would love to have more like 400 / 400
, but think I will only get that with Meth / Alk.
Good luck on your quest.

I'm having problems with my scanner, I'll try again later today. The power curve is very nice and consistant. Doug is the best tuner that I have ever went to. My car gets better gas mileage too.

Also, I am getting alot of wastegate flutter in 5th gear. I have the forced performance wga and when I installed it I did not preload it. Would it stop the flutter if I preloaded it?

The 20g listed.....is it a 20g-8, 20g9-5, 9-6, 20g-LT?, knowing what type of 20g would help signifigantly.
It's not all about peak power with the 20g's. It's about power under the curve.
Don't be so concerned with a number.
When my car "only" made 267whp on BR's dyno, my car ran a 12.2@110. I was happy for such a low peak power number.

Does it surge badly? That was one of the main problems with the 20g-8.
While you are at it, you could consider a 20g-9-5. That would give a bit better peak power, torque, and you'd lose the surging issues of the 20g-8.
Also, with that turbo those are good numbers. I'd be happy with those.
