Don't buy anything from CX Motor Sports. I bought this Ebay FMIC because I was going to compare it to a AMS FIMC and CX Motor Sport never shipped it to me. Kevin Xie at CX Motor Sports claims that he did ship on March 5th but FedEx must have either lost it or not scanned it. Here is the tracking number 411224310097365, I talked to FedEx about this and they told me that CX printed up the ladel but never shipped it. Kevin told me on the 12th that if I don't receive the FMIC by the 14th that he will take care of it and refund me. On the 14th I emailed him and he never got back to me. I emailed him again telling him that if he did not refund me by 3p.m. EST on the 16th then I will take action and file a claim. He never responded so I filed a claim with paypal and my bank "Bank of America". I just received an email from him stating that we are just going to have to wait for paypal to take care of this. I am not the type of person that sets back and just f*cking wait. I gave him the choice of either refunding me by 5p.m. EST of I will contact his local police. I just wanted to let everyone know to beware of this ebay company. I don't want anyone else to get screw out of money. Below is a link to the ebay auction and there website.

I bought from CX Racing, about 3 weeks ago with no problems...

I got their universal 2.75" 2mm aluminum intercooler piping kit, hose clamps & hoses..they where shipped out quickly and I got them no problem. The items were all packaged properly and each pipe individually wrapped...I was actually surprised at the quality of the pipes and components.

But who knows, when on ebay we just got to be careful..sorry to hear about this.

 

He just refunded me after I threatened him with the police. I learned my lesson and no more ebay.

Its a shame that you had to go through all of that trouble, but atleast you got a refund.

 

I got my IC from them and didn't have any issue as far as shipping but the mount brackets on it is useless. I had to spend couple hours making my own.
Don't buy from them. They claim they have brakets but their useless. It's a good thing you got your money back or we would see a tread about the brackets.

From what I hear the XS-power has the proper brackets.

Glad to hear it worked out but ?,why would spend good money on all those parts including a 20G and then want to put the cheapest possible intercooler on it?

 

It will probably show up in a day or two. That happened to me once on ebay. I won a monitor and it never shipped. I got a refund and two days later, there was the monitor. I felt like a douche.

If it does show, you can laugh it off, if it doesn't, you have your money back.

I wanted to test the ebay FMIC out and get a AMS and compare the two. I will not buy anything off ebay again. I have now made my mind up and I am making plans to chance my setup alittle. I am going to buy a EVOFPGreen and Revolver cam set. I am debateing on which FMIC to get. I plan to buy all of this by the end of the year. I am looking to buy a house at the moment.

 

Good thing everything turned out okay. I will never buy anything from eBay.
