Go to NAPA and buy a spark plug anti-fouler for a couple bucks and install it between the O2 bung and the O2 sensor...try that before you waste more money...

I'd try finding an o2 with the same specs and splice the connector / grommet from your old one on it.

or do a internet search for the correct piece and buy it from anyone but the dealer.

nevermind go to oxygensensors like he said.

keep in mind that a p0138 is from sens. high V wich can also= rich after the cat.
it dosn't mean you need a sens. the sens. may be doing it's job, wich is reading (i think 930mV for something like 5 sec.) so look other places also!

there should be more faults if there is a rich condition but there cars and you never know. that was the ONLY fault when scanned?

yes, when i scanned it, that is the only code being thrown....it never came on till i pressure washed the underneath one day. that same day it came on and has never went off.....even when i clear it, on the next start up it comes right back on and stays on

it's probably shorted out, and can be fixed by looking for broken insulation or bare wires somewhere.

But if you want to replace the sensor, Autozone or Napa should have a generic sensor (A Bosch sensor, and a good one at that) that you will have to splice into your existing wires for like $80 or so. I can't see spending the extra money for the same thing except with the right plug on the end. The generic sensor will come with new plug (different style than factory) ends for both sides, so it's not a hack job, you just end up with a different style plug on the ends of the wires.
