Ok so i installed my revolver cams about 5 months ago and my car would make a sparatic ticking noise which sounds like a lifter, but its sparatic, not consistent. I went ahead and ordered JAM lifters, and the noise is still there, i've been driving it for the past 4-5 months, and have revved it over 7k and haven't had any troubles. Am i lucky or is this just a strange noise, could it be an injector? its a hard noise to describe.

 

Your not stock boost solenoid are you?

Mine apparently makes a bit of a clicking noise as the boost climbs up kind of going in and out. I'm too lazy to take it apart right now and spray some silicone lube into it to hopefully quiet it up.

 

nah, i'm on aem, its coming from the valve cover it sounds like

 

Its the boost solenoid or from the boost control solenoid if you have any check them.
