i put this in the this forum because it is an evo 9 turbo. my friends has a 20th anniv GTI and bought a evo 9 turbo off someone who crashed there brand new evo 9 in 100 miles. the turbo is obviously brand new and my friend told me that the kid only want $325 for the turbo so i said BUY IT RIGHT NOW.lol.the only thing is there are very few people running an evo 9 turbo on a 1.8t gti. i am trying to help him find someone that makes an exhaust manifold for it. everything else can be made but that is the most important thing. i just wanted to know if you guys know anyone that makes this manifold for that car or someone that just makes custom manifold. my friend is very funny and loves all evo parts. he actually has a ams fmic on his gti and it looks great and everyone always asks him what did u get that. and the ams fmic also made more power than his eurojet race fmic. so any help would really be great. we are hoping for somewhere in the 300-350whp with meth. thanks ahead of time guys as always your help is always greatly appriciated.

 

that probably has to be done custom....

only place i know of in ur area is turbotrix.... i know theyre somewhere in nj...

doesnt have to be an evo shop.. anyone who knows how to make manifolds can do it

my friend bought it already lol. but on the turbotrix subject i have dealt with them before i will see if they can do it. but the place doesnt have to be local. but does anyone know of anyone that specializes in custom manifolds or anyone that makes a manifold for that car with the evo 9 turbo. thanks. need info..i was wondering if full race made custom manifolds but i dont think so. we dont want an ebay type manifold. i know my friend will pay the price for a good manifold(no cracking).

 

well it has to be a shop thats delt with that be4...

to fit the turbo, lines... etc... make sure it all fits since its not common

yes well i definetely think he is goning to have to get oil lines and stuff made because i dont think anyone makes them. it would be great if someone could tell me where i can get all the lines made or where i can get them from and about the manifold.

 

damn i got mine with like 3k miles on it for 350. i thought i got a great deal. i got a friend hook up though.

 

Pruven makes crazy good exhaust manifolds. ask scottyo i think his name is if he has a picture of his custom made mani

Well I know you can get both flanges here for the head and the footprint on the turbo. http://bmcrace.com/ The owner is a good friend of mine and I let him mock up my flange with my manifold so I know he has the turbo flange for sure. He also provides flanges for a lot of manifold makers. You can drop him an email or call him..I am trying to get him to make an adapter for a t3 to the stock manifold or the footprint of an fp3052(I love that turbo)
