Need options?

Okay, I am changing some parts on my car. I just ordered a EVO 9 turbo. Here are the options. Should I send it to Buschur and upgrade it to the 20GLT and keep my Helix cams or instead of upgrading the turbo buy Revolver cams, valve springs, retainers and cam gears.

I don't think it would make sense to go from Helix cams to Revolver cams while on an VIII turbo with the stock ECU. I would go with the 20g-LT and do crazy cams way in the future when you have a big turbo and standalone ECU.

If I were you I would talk to Jarrod or David at Buschur Racing, and they'll tell you which option would make more gains for the money...

already have meth, my mods are in my sig. I think that the Helix cams are holding me back. I made 343whp at 21psi with a boost leak. At 27psi and no leak I am only making 16whp more "359whp". I was planning on doing both but I am having to take over payments next month on my exwifes WRX. I am going to take and sell it fast.

I might beable to swing Brian Crower 280 cams, springs and retainers along with the 20GLT upgrade.

I think so, I searched and found there website. They was selling the cams, valve springs and retainers in a kit for $750 I think. I'll search it again. If not then I am sure there are more aggresive cams out there than the Helix V2's

I would blame that on the very poor 20g-8 rather than the cams, but I don't know for sure.

Yeah, I have to say the 20G-8 sucks. Gruppe-s claims the Helix V2 cams are the same as HKS 272 cams and maybe abit better. I don't know forsure, I have not seen anyone else get dyno'd with the Helix cams.
