Hey guys whats up? I'm pretty much new to this forum, & I need some help with my Evo 8!! I own a 2003, got it with 20k miles, it had an HKS twin disk clutch which I swapped to an Exedy stage 1 since I though the release bearing was whining, I guess also the synchro is bad cuz I still have that anoying grind/whine and third gear grinds now!! I tried Redline oils in tranny & diff. not much change!! car has 24k now. Please help!! also any one knows the rear speaker size?

 

REDLINE.. always use DIAQUEEN.. not alot of ppl had luck with other than Diaqueen is a gamble.. in which it seems you lost..

 

+1 redline is okay for the tranny, but you should use stock fluids for everything else..

 

Your tranny sounds like it needs a rebuild.
