Forge UNOS springs?

Was wondering which spring comes in the unit and which comes in the box. On just the wastegate spring (14lb) I was boosting about 18psi, after adding the forge I was boosting 22psi with it turned all the way down. 22psi is cool, but I would like to be able to adjust it down to 18psi for daily driving. Not installed on a evo, 50 trim srt. Thanks for any help

use the soft spring that comes in the unit it max boost for the soft spring is like 25-28 psi the stiff spring ranges from 29 and up. if the soft spring is still making you turn to mutch boost i would take it apart and maybe take a coil or 2 out of it as in cutting the spring it will allow you to fix the issue your having.

I ended up buying a few springs from ace hardware as I dident want to jack the forge springs up. I found one that was about 2 cm longer then the forge light psi spring but about the same thickness. I then meassured the spring next to the forge and cut an additional 2/8th's an inch off the spring. Inside the unos on the oposite side as the ball there is a little nipple that holds the spring in place so the spring not having a flat surface dident look like it was going to effect anything. I put the cut side towards the nipple and the flat uncut side towards the ball and put it all back together and with the boost controller turned all the way down it pulled 18psi 10 clicks on the unos and I was at 22psi. So it seems to work well, I just dont know how much peak boost it will hold now. I will repost the results when I run race gas this weekend at the track. If anyone is having the same issue as me it might be worth a try as the springs were only 52 cents at the hardware store and it only took 10 minutes to do.

good job i was unaware that ace hard wear sold springs like that. but cutting the spring will work no matter witch spring it is.it will hold any boost depending on the set up and spring stiffness it should work just normal really.
