my engine is fully forged and balanced i will post the engine spec later

What type of boost controller are you using, Billy?
Looking at your graph, which by the way is very nice, I notice there is
room for even more gains in the spool up! A good electronic boost controller
will smooth torque and also improve ~50 more whp between 4000 and 5000 rpms. That is my opinion.

I use a HKS evc 5 boost controller . when we where mapping it my mapper found that it would not hold boost past 24 psi and recmmended a Apexi AVCR so in the next week or so i will swap it over and dyno it again

Billy

PS what boost controller do most of you guys ues over there ?

Impressive. It seems that the FP Green turbo is a magical turbo. No loss in spool and it has the potential to produce the same power as a 50 trim.

I still want to see whether a BB EvoGreen would surge or not. I wonder when someone is going to do a conversion?

People are already looking at that across the pond... might even already have the unit in motion...

Billy,

I'm not busting your ***** per se... it's just a case of "I told you so...", and more directed at others on the "other" board.

Zeus,

In order for Billy to understand "busting your *****" you need to translate it into proper English, such as:

"I was taking the Michael..."

"I was pulling your plunker..."

"I was taking the ****..."

Then he'll understand.

I think I've been to England WAY too many times

It's only like a $1000 through their exchange program (you give them your VIII turbo)

Billy, the HKS EVC 5 is a very good unit.
The Apexi AVCR is nice too. And, you can set boost by rpms.
I know there is someone here that recommends the EVC 6. A new and
improved version of the 5. And it also controls boost by rpms. He says is one
of the best.
I am currently using the Greedy E01 since I can log my a/f's and also control boost by rpms.
I am still working on controlling the boost tapper better above 30 psi peak. I have no problem controlling it at 25 psi and less.
Holds good.
