UK FP Evogreen dynoed
UK FP Evogreen dynoed
Hi
I fitted a Fp Evogreen about 7 weeks ago and just got it dynoed on Saturday
The figures it produced was amazing 393 bhp at the wheels and 409 lbft of torque this was at 24 psi running pump gas
this is the first "green" to be dynoed in the UK so its looking good

This doesnt make sense. Did it make 393 bhp or whp?
In the UK, they often express 'whp' as 'ATW" (at the wheels). Also, be advised that the dyno numbers quoted tend not to be directly translatable to numbers generated in the U.S., so before/after comparisons are most useful to those on these shores.
Just FYI for the sake of avoiding confusion before it starts . . .

Billy,
Glad to see you put down some respectable numbers with the Green...
I've been waiting for your dyno results for awhile now. I thought you were running meth though.
Please give us your impressions of the turbo - spool, low-end torque, top end, etc... and also it would be nice if you could post your dyno graph and mod list
By the way, wasn't someone over there on MLR experimenting with an FP Green/EVO400 hybrid turbo?

Readers of this thread should be smart enough to realize that a dyno in New York will read differently than a dyno in Virginia, which will read differently than a dyno in Texas. Hell, even if you could take the exact SAME dyno and dyno the SAME car in two differents areas, it would still read different because of things like ambient temperature and the local gasoline they sell at the pumps. Said readers are requested to use some common sense and think about what the scenario will be if we now put an effing ocean in between the two areas that the dyno testing is now being performed, and change the way we measure the quality of gasoline being used.
The Green has already been well proven in the US. I think what would be more benificial would be a comparison of how this turbo stacks up against what the rest of the crazy Brits are using. For some reason the thought of seeing www.forcedperformance.co.uk in the near future comes to mind.

Looks like a pretty smooth ride.
More torque than HP? ....or is that engine torque instead of torque at the wheels?
EDIT: Nevermind. The crossover point kinda threw me off and I forgot to actually read the graph.
