well,

finally got one on a car to test...

same car with the god forbidden Ebay exhaust..... worked nicely together...

same boost, same map... the car gained some hp and torque, came on SLIGHTLY later... just peak boost...

numbers were 309/300 before... and after I tuned it (basically changed a few fueling cells and some timing) we were at 348/316....

car feels massively faster for a small torque gain, but measurable hp gain....

overall excellent turbo.... I am going to throw in some 680's and tune some more.. then do some cams...

ill post charts tomorrow! ill filled up my camera and such with pics of our project car (see show and shine thread if you want)...

I wanna see some numbers after you cam it. The FP green is my next power adder. So i would realy like to see what others are making with similar mods.

Was this on an VIII or IX? What was the psi?

 

^^cool that's pretty close to what my setup will be and those are pretty good number, can't complain with a 40 whp jump.

23 psi, which was what the stock turbo was run at..

i have back to back dyno charts and then tuned, ill post tomorrow!

When you say it gained "some hp and some tq on the same map" how much are we talking about? Was this on the same psi? What kind of knocking was it doing with the bigger turbo?
