Very nice, are you going to be able to get this turbo with the cast manifold?

david,
just got a couple of questions, can the people with the cast manifold upgrade to this turbo? what kind of a gain would there be on pump and alky compared to the 3065r, what about spool difference?

I did testing with the HTA 35r over the normal GT35 in the other thread. That testing was done. It made more midrange power over the standard 35r in the FP housing with our cast manifold just like this testing now.

Yes, this is available with the cast manifold. I've already tested it that way in the other thread months ago.

We were only waiting to re-test with a new ported shroud to see if the surging would go away.

Seems like you changed to many things on the setup to know if the new cover helped the surge problem?

David any plan to put the new HTA wheel in a the 37r. Second question would your new gt35r with HTA wheel and a .82a/r make as much power and spool faster than a 37r .63a/r

Was Curt Brown using the AMS GT35R turbo kit on this dyno run? If yes, that is impressive to see that the power gains over a AMS 35R kit. I wonder if other companies will offer this new FP 35R soon.

You never specifically mentioned it, but is the surging gone now?

Great to see this, by the way. I was always anti-GT35 because they spooled so late, but this looks a lot more reasonable now.

What cams do you have now? I would say go with the cams over the turbo as I think you have the 3065 right? At 38 lbs, the 3065 made 580+ on buschurs dyno...so I think at this point, the cams would be more beneficial to you.
