Ohh.. man David that's a good question... What do you see will be the price difference between the old 35R vs the HTA 35R?

Dave when you ultimately have this turbo ready, without surge issues, etc.... will you then do a proper test between your old 35R and this new one?

Thanks Jarrod.

It's just that if you read the first post in this thread.

And then the first post of this thread:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=246400

It just seems like the "new 35r" tested in both those threads was not identical. And seeing how this thread has come at a later date... I made the assumption changes had been made.

Or was the 35R tested in both threads the same?

Testing is done, complete, finished. No other testing, other than MAF data is going to be done.

This turbo does not surge, also, end of story. With the standard compressor cover the surging was horrible, worse than a standard GT35R with a ported shroud. A standard 35R with a ported shroud, does and will surge. This turbo I have not been able to get to surge at ALL. None-nada. I have run the car from 2,000 rpm in 5th up to 5500 in 5th, no surging.

Pricing, I have no idea. More expensive than a standard 35r as it takes a custom wheel. If I had to guess I'd guess close to $400 more.

Yes, Curt was using AMS's 35r kit when he dyno'd and ran his car.

Are we still going to be able to get this with the cast manifold?

From what I heard FP will be doing the entire line of Garrett turbo's in the HTA trim. I would imagine this would transfer to the FP housed turbos as well.

I've asked Dave a couple times to confirm this, and give a time frame of when to expect the rest of the line. But haven't got a response.

I also e-mailed FP about this a week ago or so, but haven't got a response.

As, soon as I get this info confirmed I'll be sure to let you know, as I'm waiting myself. Not for a 3065R version, but something a little bigger.

Well if they're going to do the entire line of Garrett Turbo's then that's good! All I care about is the GT37R in HTA fashion!

David could you answer my question.

Any plan to put the new HTA wheel in a the 37r. Second question would your new gt35r with HTA wheel and a .82a/r make as much power and spool faster than a 37r .63a/r

^^^ Buschur said in the previous thread that they do plan on making a wheel for the 37r...

My question it, Will I be able to order this new HTA 35R with a Precision .68 a/r Hotside on it?
