The HTA 35r wheel is also NOT the same size as a 35r wheel, actually it is slightly smaller than a standard 35r wheel. The design of the wheel allows it to make the same power as a standard 35r wheel but outspool it and make more power in the midrange.
Thanks for the clarification Dave

The turbo is on the dyno now getting the MAF data Robert has been waiting for.

I asked about the HTA naming. The letters all designate something different about how the wheel was designed and such. Each letter stands for a series of changes the wheel went through to get it where it is. So it is basically Robert's secret notes.

We can call it Hot Tight A, I like that one the best.

Dammit Dave, I really want this HTA 35R turbo....

We all do, Im starting to think something is wrong with it though, Its taking to long after the testing was done successfully for it to come out

I could be wrong, but this is taking way to long and starting to have my doubts. Garrett makes an awsome product and this would be almost to good to be true.

I'm sure you've considered the remote possibility that they might want to test this new wheel design on more than just an evo, right?

by the way ... to, two, and too. They're 3 different words, check it out some time.

If I knew that this was a spelling bee I would have been on my A-game. Find something more productive to do with your time.

Some people are just lame

Another thing, Buschur said the testing was done, not that it had to be performed on other vehicles... Learn to read more and criticize less

The turbo is done, the turbo is on my car and is performing flawlessly at 40+ psi of boost. The car now has, I don't even know how many, 9 second passes on it. I'm driving the car everyday all over the place.

Robert is in the process of making more compressor wheels.

We are still testing though, he does not want the wheel to fail and that is why I am running such high boost on it constantly.

There is nothing wrong with the turbo or design as far as I can see.

Man, David take your time. I'd rather it be perfect than for there to be any issues at some point down the line. If this comes out before I step up to purchase the Green, I may definitely consider it.

From what I read, and I can be wrong. The exhaust side of the turbo remains the same. So it should fit all those housings on the exh. side.
