anyone make a maf adaptor to fit a 4 inch cone?

anyone make a maf adaptor to fit a 4 inch cone?

running a gt series turbo with a 4 inch intake.... anyway i can run a air filter that has a 4 inch opening on the maf? thanks for reading.

you can buy a 4 inch maf adaptor from autozone....its for a 2g dsm but its the same....

you lost me..

youre going to need to taper from the 4" gt inlet to the 3" MAF outlet.. most of the maf inlet adapters are 4.5" or so... check out vibrantperformance.com

yeah i have 4 inch piping so i need to taper it so i can hook it up to the stock maf then find a maf bracket that supports a 4 inch cone

You know that you will not gain anything from going from a 3" intake to a 4" intake on a turbo that has a 4" inlet..

With that being said, you can simply get a reducer to go from 4" to 3" at the maf, and just get a K&N filter which is the size you are looking for.

This will go after the maf to attach the intake:

okay that samco reducer is perfect now the maf adaptor that vibrant sells is for a 4.5... i need a 4 (im searching on ebay lol)

or i can just run another 4>3 straight reducer.... probably look ghetto though.

You can get one from Pep Boys. I bought my 4inch MAF adapter there for $12. It was for an Eclipse but fits the MAF perfectly. Look in the section where they sell those cheap air intakes and cone filters, you should be able to find MAF adapters in that isle.
