Yeah cams are definitely next on the list, but I'm not made of money and do need to stay married, but they will eventually be installed

so what happens when you don't send them your stock IX turbo? They keep your $300 core charge? Do they charge your credit card more money since a brand new EvoGreen cost $1700?

LOL...$1200 for a EvoGreen sounds like a good deal. That's the price they should be selling for anyway instead of an arm and a leg for a new one.

No you pay them $1145 (I had the porting done as an option so it was a little more) and they send you a whole new setup. Once you have that installed and running, you send them back your stocker and they refund your credit card $300. Total cost for upgrade is $845 + shipping.

you're missing my point. I am wondering what happens if you don't send them your stock IX turbo. only a $300 core charge seems strange.

Yeah, they must have caught on to that... I just talked to FP today, and was quoted $999 + $300 core charge = ~$1300 for FP Green turbo via their exchange program.

When they receive your IX turbo, you get $450 back

When they receive your VIII turbo, you get $300 back

so technically you are still getting a new EvoGreen for $1300 if you do not send them your stock IX turbo core via their exhange program.

LOL.....Am i the only one scratching my head at this?

Guys, you are not getting a NEW EvoGreen for $1300. You are getting a rebuilt IX turbo converted to the EvoGreen Specs. The only way you get a NEW EvoGreen is if you purchase one for $1700 plus shipping.

OK, I will try one more time...

Pay the full price of $1145 (+ porting and wastegate if you want), you return yours they give you $300 back on your card. If you don't send it back you obviously don't get a refund, but he does ask you to send it back and yes he does know you can get more than $300 for it.

Uh... a EvoGreen is a IX turbo but with different internals.

either way they are taking apart a IX turbo replacing it with new parts. So a rebuild and a new EvoGreen is the same to me.

Right - I guarantee you would not know that mine was not new.

Well if you don't understand it's best just to call them. It's not difficult and they won't bite your head off. I just don't see what is so difficult. If you want me to say you could sell it for more on your own after telling them you will return it, then sure by all means do so if that's what makes you feel good.
