cij911, the reason your boost spike is coming on 500rpm later is most likely because of your HFC.

Take a look at the recent Dynoflash thread on a IX where the removal of the cat makes a significant difference in power and spool...

didn't need Al to tell us that. Test pipes are just the way to go with power and spool. when I put my AMS exhaust (test pipe) on, i was caught off gaurd in first gear at how much faster it spooled.

Double hump

Look at this boost graph (top graph) for verification.

See how it hits and falls then comes back? That's just a Forge UNOS on there. Stock IX turbo, stock WGA.

Actually I disagree Noize...I believe what you are seeing is the ~4000/4500 range MIVEC efficiency jump (VE spike) which drops boost...then at ~5000 VE comes back and boost psi returns to general taper....We have been talking about this in ECUFlash forum for a while now and folks have been addressing / resolving by increasing the MWGDC in that area...

Old thread, but for those who may care. I was around 310whp/300wtq on 91 octane and after the FP Green, I hit 326whp/319wtq. This was on a Dyno Dynamics dyno with an Evo 9. TBE/Cosworth cams/fuel upgrades/etc.
