yes another wierd noise thread...

My car just making a slight rattle sound, in second and third gear, at around 10 lbs. of boost, when accelerating and sometimes on the decel. then goes away. I hold boost just fine. any ideas what this could be? I can't tell if it's the drivetrain or not. It seems to happen at or around half to full throttle. Car is basically stock: exaust, drop in, flash, bov

Any help is appreciated...

Did you take off and put on back the undertray, if so is it secure?

We took off a small section on the undertray when we flushed the coolant... I will check that... this is more of a slight metallic grind / vibration almost feels like it's under my feet but cant tell.

^ not around 4k rpm lower than that at like 3k 3.5k rpm. It's pissing me off. The noise happens for a second then goes away. just a very slight rubbing or grinding noise. really only happens in 2nd and 3rd gears. damnit

not sure if its your problem but i had the same problem and sound as you describe. after trial and error i found it was with my mechanical o2 fix (2 antifoulers) and would cause the o2 sensor to rub on the undercarriage.

Glad everyone ignored this...

Is it a rattle? A rub or a grinding noise? I'm so confused and lost.

Exhaust is the first place I'd check, then check the suspension.

I dont think its his TC. My TC is messed up, and it happens in every gear and never goes away.
