Guy who posted above. When he replaced it, he probably ended up using more then one Wave Washer. The newer Cusco's and Exedy's come with 2-3 wave washers where my old version had 1. Even my stock clutch had two.
Yeah that's probably what Dan was talking about. He said he wasn't sure if it was a fix but would help.

No I haven't tried it since. That was the only attemp at doing that and I'm afraid my last. Maybe one day I'll try it again after riding with someone and seeing how they do it in thier evo.

I like the fact that you don't have to keep revving to make that kind of power.

There isn't one. Motor won't move with those buschur motor mounts, plus most companies don't use them.

i was more concerned about the longevity of the manifold. it seems odd that there is no flex section in the exhaust. no matter how strong your mounts are i'd still put one in there........for the manifold's sake.

if you're still using the stock spring bolts and doughnut gasket, it should provide enough flex that a flex section isn't needed.

Robert from FP says it will be awhile before he is ready to sell/release this turbo. I'd personally like to sell them TODAY. He wants me to run it and make sure nothing comes apart and the compressor wheel will hold up to this high boost levels......all part of being on top of the game and not some copy cat.

We do not use a flex section in our exhaust systems. No need for it. I run our front and rear engine mounts which eliminates engine movement.

The EVO engine mounts suck from the factory. They make for missed shifts, torn/blown off i/c pipes, exhaust rattles etc. You should replace atleast the front engine mount, as I said, I run both of ours, front and rear. No need for flex regardless.

I'm back from vacation. Looking forward to taking the car out again this week.

I can't wait either. Should have times in the next few weeks. I am waiting on new tires now and working on some other new ideas. Car is ready though. It sure feels fast, too fast for the street really.
