Dave, do you use a 2.5" o2 housing or is it a 3" on the RS?
And what would be the consequences, pros/cons, of each if any?

Thanks

i know u daily drive it, but r u the one making all these fantastic times? Also had a question about headers for u. so u know i have the ATP kit, and im running the megan mani now and haven’t had any problems as of yet. but i was wondering u know anyone who would have a header for me utilizing the stock location? i don’t want another cheap header that will do nothing but spot rust. is the borla any good?

now i know u will just suggest going to a stock ported mani, and i trust your knowledge on this subject, but there just no way i want that nasty looking cast piece on my car. its not like your mani's, all one solid piece. and i hope this doesnt turn into an ATP bashing post, but i thought i would ask u if maybe u guys would make one or know someone who would. thanks

My RS has a 2.5" 02 housing on it, right after the bend it goes up to 3". Not sure if there are pro's cons to either 2.5 or 3". If I could have made a 3" 02 housing that looked/fit how I wanted it to, I would have used full 3".

deadbeatrec, Full Race makes the best stock replacement header, that is the only answer I have for your problem. As you can see the savings you think you had buying a turbo kit on price only is going to quickly be changed when you buy a good header to go with it. Sell what you have a get..............

Does Buschur sell that exhaust setup as pictured with the canister under the car and no muffler in the rear? Would it need to be a turboback or available as downpipe-back? I like that look and think its a great idea for JDM bumper use.

Yes, we sell an exhaust like that, it is turbo back only and V band only.

Today, for the first time this week I had a chance to actually take a breath at the shop. I was sitting at my desk and said, "Holy sheeat, I am caught up." I decided to go back and check on my car. I needed to fix two injector seals that were not seated in the cylinder head all the way, only took a few minutes.

Trent came back and was looking to see what I was doing. I told him I was going to go for a leisurely drive He hopped in the car and we took off.

Have I mentioned how much I like my EVO? I'm not crazy about the lag but I have to admit, this is a bad *** car.

Without riding in it you just can't appreciate the rediculous power.

I ordered some tires a few weeks ago for it, BFG Drag Radials. Today I ordered another set, Toyo something or another (can't remember) road race DOT tires. Little bigger tire. I will probably test them back to back and see which one works best and then sell of the others.

We have a track rental coming up in just over a week. Would like to see what the car is going to do and make a choice on the tires. Then clean it and wait for the Winged Warror event next month.

Oh, I have a small black square box up on my dash, Trent asked me what it was I told him my antenna for the navigation unit. I think he thought I was kidding until I turned on the double din screen and hit the "nav" button. Today was the first time I had used it, pretty freaking cool.
