Please Help me....
Okay heres whats going one.. I recently turned my boost up on my car to 18 psi -19psi( i had it down to save gas) and now im getting really bad surge at about 5k+
when im at WOT. When i do a freeway pull in 4th or 5th gear it surges on its way to 5k. It feels like a fuel cut but then continues to go then surges again...
I have a MBC, 255 Pump, agency power BOV, Buschur TBE, and KnN Typhoon. Yeah yeah i kno worst intake ever.
im in the processes of putting the stock intake back in and try it again.. just to see what happens..
anyone experinced this.
and i KNOW i need a tune/reflash..ill get that real soon..
thanks guys.

You know you have the worst intake, and you know you have no tune, which is a terrible thing considering that mod list, so that knowledge should preclude making a thread.
What do you mean by "surging"? You need to explain what that means. I highly doubt you're really experiencing surging, which is when the turbo forces air more quickly than the engine can handle. I think you mean something else and are calling it "surging." Tell us EXACTLY what it does, at what rpm, how it behaves, how it sounds, how much boost it builds, how quickly it spools, and what it does all the way up to 7k rpm.
PS. 18-19psi is still below stock, and you don't turn your boost to below stock to save gas - you just don't got WOT.

i was just wondering if anyone has experinced this..
What i meant was .. a sudden loss in power for a split second... it spools up fine up to 5k
..the only way i can explain it is.. the car is pulling and then like someone yanks me back then continues for a lil then happens again..its so hard that the check engine llghts up. i stop as soon as it happens so i never go past 6k... it never did it with the boost down..

Well, it could be:
1) fuel cut - need a tune
2) spark plugs fouled - need a fresh set of NGK BPR7ES gapped to .026
3) Clutch slipping - doubtful, since it grabs then pulls back again...a slipping clutch would only happen at peak boost around 4krpm, then once it catches, it would keep going
I would definitely start with re-installing the stock intake, then get a quick e-flash or mail-in flash. There is absolutely NO reason to have all those mods and no tune - it just doesn't make sense. Especially the fuel pump...you took a very rich stock tune and made it even richer.

VAT=vent to atmosphere.
If going back to stock intake doesn´t fix it then try your stock DV again and then your original FP. Then lastly check your MBC and vacuum hoses. This way you´ll eliminate your mods as possible culprits.
