GT35R w/ stock IC piping

GT35R w/ stock IC piping

Is anyone doing this? How long can I get away with this and t-bolt clamps?

you will have to change your lower intercooler pipe. There is no way you are going to get the stock one to bolt up. Someone correct me if im wrong but i dont think it will work that way. Now the upper you can probably still use.

A good kit will come with the LICP that's needed.

I just found out the other day im still on Stock LICP?

lol, basically when my shop did my i/c upgrade they forgot to do my licp.. so im still on the stock pos.. im probably losing like 10-15whp but w/e.. untill i get more money it doesnt make that big of a difference

thats incorrect, stocker will bolt up, because most kits come with a pipe that connectes the turbo to the licp, and that is there "licp" it doesnt actually go to the i/c

you cant use the stock licp for an aftermarket turbo but the uicp will work fine

Does this depend on the kit you have? What if the kit comes with a LICP solution?

Just go buy some Injen LICP, its like $300 shipped plus you get UICP.

Well that is the thing, the money is going to be spent on the turbo so piping would have to wait.

I would wait to put the turbo on then, just to be safe without and boost leaks, fitment problems etc. and that Injen piping sounds like a good deal :-)
